This enticing Schild Estate 2006 Barossa Sparkling Shiraz is another fine example of a classic Australian style from this renowned area and the third vintage for Schild Estate.
Selected parcels of fruit from the Angus Brae and Ahrens Vineyard from the southern end of the Barossa Valley provided the Shiraz fruit for this Sparkling wine.
The 2006 season proved to be a stable vintage with reasonably warm days followed by cooler nights, and late rains in the vintage meant that good vineyard management allowed the fruit to ripen evenly.
This wine is a pleasure to consume so drink now and enjoy with friends.
